I believe gauge anomolies are not foreign to V8's. I've had my instrument
cluster out and treated all connectors with DeOxit. Seems to have cured
some glitchy things.
Good catch Huw. I was focused only on the water temp which I thought was
unusual since I believe few V8's seem to ever "warm up". At least mine
never has. But the oil temp being out of synch with the water temp escaped
me. Mine are usually in synch and both on the cool side.
