[V8] Cooling/ radiator question

I'd check out Steve B's suggestion regarding the viscous fan coupling on 
the main fan.  I was unaware there even was a viscous coupling there.  I 
thought that fan ran off the belt continuously.

The thermostat is behind a cover on the front of the engine.  It's item # 4
