very likely your static mixture was reset so the car would run ok with
the leak.  Now it's off because the leak is gone,a dn the ECU guesses
wrong how much air to let in when the idle switch is closed, keeps
hunting the right amount til it gets there.

I went through a bit of this, fine tuning the CIS-E when I retrofitted
it to my 82 coupe.
