No, it will not. The spline is the same size, but the cancelling mechanism 
is on the wheel in one case and on the steering column in another. For the 
OE wheels it's easy to swap the two between wheels, for aftermarket wheels 
it's not.

BTW: The cancelling mechanism is identical between type 44 and 89, but 
reversed on the type 81/85.
