This is an ever so very old, ever so very sad song on this list. (Cue
violins.)
Step 1: replace left side engine harness. Be cautious with a used harness
as many of these cars are in the yard because of this endearing little Audi
"quirk." Step 2: install 80A fuse in fan motor ground return, either with
well
documented "official" Audi retrofit or electrically equivalent car parts
store stuff per Avi and others. Step 3: install new battery (but perhaps
this was your step 1. If so, be on your guard for smoke and flames under
the rear seat.)
