Actually the '90 q is to be hers, it's ideal:  Black rubber bumpers, manual 
tranny, radio inop, heavily constructed, not worth much (I had it sold for 
$3k but kept it).  I was in a Honda rear ended by a Volvo.  The Volvo looked 
as unfazed as this Audi does, the Honda was totalled and badly....

I am not a big fan of Hondas but they do make very safe cars, usually top rated in their class. I was looking through the Insurance Institute crash tests and was really surprised when I saw the rating for the A6. It looks like a very solid car, heavy construction etc but was only rated acceptable. and the older audis were not nearly as good as this, especially if it does not have airbags.
