91 100 elec ?

On a 91 100 there is a red connector to nowhere under the back seat. Any one 
know what its supposed to connect to if anything? The wire is black with red. 
New alternator won't charge. 
Please don't tell me to buy the Bentley. It's not my car, I'm just trying to 
help a kid without much money or car savvy. He's getting desperate, and I 
can't find the problem.
