I have a Defa alarm (known alarm brand in Scandinavia, maybe other
European countries too) which controls the locking in my car. It just
taps into the wire coming from the door lock. The remote locking
connector on it has got 8 wires, 6 of them which you need to connect
together in a special way and the last two to the lock wire in the
car. In addition, you have to program the alarm to activate the
locking/unlocking for 4 seconds (default 0.5 seconds for solenoid
locks).
