Great timing, I was about to send a post asking this, if I should use loctite on the pressure plate bolts
(5kcstq). Now that I look at the original ones, they appear to have been dry. I was thinking the thread
locking compound referred to by the Bentley is probably for the crankshaft to flywheel bolts, not the
flywheel to pressure plates bolts. Since my Bentley has incorrect information, I wanted to confirm.
But I suppose either way there is probably no harm in putting blue loctite on the bolts, even if it is not
specified. So, I've got to get some of that (since I have red), and I'll put it on both the flywheel and
pressure plate bolts.
