It sounds like you've either burst a hose or a hose has come loose.
Since you heard a 'whoosh' / popping sound the hose problem is after
the turbo, since compressed air out of the turbo blew it apart.
Check the large diameter rubber hoses from the turbo to the intercooler
to the throttle body. I'm not 100% familiar with the layout of
the 200Q 20V, don't know if it's the same as the later UrS4/S6.
In my '95 S6 the pressurized air comes out of the turbo through
a 2.5" diameter hose that connects to a metal 'crossover' pipe that
takes the air over to the left side where the intercooler is located.
There's another large diameter rubber hose from the crossover pipe
to the intercooler and there's another large diameter rubber hose
from the intercooler to the throttle body.
