5kt heater core...

Hi Folks,

My problem is small.  I hope.

Is there a trick to removing the core from the housing.  The core's inlet
and outlet seem to interfere with the housing.  Seems to be about a ½"
overlap.  No amount of twisting seems to give enough clearance to remove
the core.  I'm not worried about damaging the core during removal, but I am
worried about damaging the new core during installation, as I'm sure
installation will be the reverse of removal.
