Sorry about the lack of Audi content here, but a friend of mine recently
purchased a '90 Jetta and the radio has been acting up. It's been cutting
power to various speakers and can only be fixed by either smacking the dash
or turning the radio on and off. I'm going to help him take out the radio
and see if the wiring is shot, as well as check the speakers. But I can't
figure out how to take the radio out. It's the "Heidelberg" model, and
there aren't the regular DIN holes like my Audi radio. Anyone happen to
know how to take the radio out? I really hope it doesn't involve
disassembling the whole dash.
To add a little Audi content, I've noticed quite a few parts shared between
his Jetta and my '90 80Q (such as the sunroof opener)
Thanks,
David Miller
