200TQ oil cooler fittings

Gentlepeople,

After the oil cooler hose on my 200 TQ failed for the second time,
I'm trying to remove the old hoses. While I have the connectors
soaking in PB Blaster, does anyone know the size of the hex
fasteners that connect the hose to the oil cooler and oil filter base?

My largest open end wrench (spanner) is 19mm, which is way too
small. An adjustable wrench opens to 1 inch, which is almost there.
Is the hex fitting 26mm or 27mm?

And while I'm on the subject, has anyone replaced the standard
connectors with AN pieces? I'm looking for the metric-to-AN adapter
size, and the AN fittings and hose sizes.

My backup plan is to find a local hydraulics place and have them
fabricate what I need.
