didn't you say someone was welding the exhaust with the OXS still
plugged in?

I have yet to destroy anything electrical with my welder, which is
probably much more due to luck than skill, but that sounds like a great
way to fry the ECU.

Have you tried to take any measurements, like control pressure actuator
current or OXS output yet?  I realize the car needs to run for at least
a few seconds to do that, but...
