engine bogging down

I seem to be losing rpms at about 3500 to 4000 at around 3500rpm the whole =
car jumps a little bit then it hits 4000 and almost instantly drops back do=
wn to about 3500 rpms, in 2 and 3rd and i think 4th i didnt feel it in 1st =
but i usually shift before 3500 when im in first... if anyone has any idea =
why it would do that?
