4k no start/start

Tried to start my car last night around midnight, wouldn't start.  Lights,
radio, heat etc.  Loud clicking sound from the glovebox relay area.  Went
inside tracked down a ride for today, came back out about 30 min later,
and it started right up.

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet today, but lately the idle has
been unstable, cycling to 2400 and down at times.

Is it possible that the fuel mixture was just too rich from a fouled/dead
ISV, or does the clicking from the glovebox indicate something else?  All
the 'spare' fuses/relays are there, but the non-functioning interior light
made it hard to diagnose at the time.
