pump condition?

Don't know if the '91 200 20V is the same as the UrS6 in this regard, but
the brake light is shared with the power steering reservoir level. I found
this when I was having the same problems with brake light coming on if I was
hard on the brakes or on high speed exit/entrance ramps. Brake level was
fine but my power steering reservoir was low (leaking pump). Filled it up
and the brake light stopped complaining. Just a shot, as you mentioned
everything else about the power steering system except whether the level was
OK. Of course, given that you recently replaced one of the lines I would
think that you should be topped up, but....
