not a big deal.  There are many solutions available.  Here is mine (sorry for
the long URL):

there are more fuel rail pics in that directory too.  Basically I filed down
the end of my throttle cable so it would clear the rail.  Tons of room around
the throttle body as I used a KH intake manifold from the early 5kt's.  It is
round rather than oval.

Here is Nate's solution using the later oval style throttle body.  A tight
fit, but everything clears:

only cutting involved in both of these is drilling and tapping the fuel rail
stock.

I mounted mine with tabs I cut from aluminum and bolted to the cam cover
bolts.  There are pics in the same directory as the link above that show the
bracketry.  The fuel rail stock I got from Force EFI:
http://www.force-efi.com .  You can also buy pre-drilled/tapped fuel rails
from 034efi.com if you need.
