Far from it. I don't think a/d/s does much in the competition circuit,
a big reason why they wouldn't be so popular. Also, the 3 series
components
are _really_ expensive.

A couple local shops sell a/d/s, don't know how much of it they actually
sell
because it costs a lot and isn't flashy. Shiny chrome Xtants are much
nicer
to show off than a rather small, understated, black or grey a/d/s amp.
