Engine stalls when slowing down quickly

an intermittent idle switch could cause this.  it is what tells the ECU
that your foot is off the loud pedal and that it will need to use the
ISV to set an idle.

The idle switch is under the throttle body and shares a 3 pin connector
with the wide open throttle switch which is on top.
