That's part of what worried me...
He insisted he could have the pistons swapped in a couple of hours, and
said his last conversion took a day and cost $1000NZ ($400US)...
Call me cynical, but I have some doubts...

You're in good company..!

After getting Minhea's email, I think I'll check specific engine numbers
etc, and just see what this guy has available... I sorta like the idea of
doing a decent rebuild on a turbo engine and then putting it in...
That way I know the condition of the block, and it gives me a chance to mix
and match manifolds / headers / pistons etc without too much down time on
the car...

It's just those electricals that worry me... but once I have a block and
get started, there'll be no stopping me...!
