Very good.  I have 3 things to add.  I used cheap rope
caulk for the seal between the box halves.  I cut a
template out of cardstock(gift box) similar to the one
shown in the Bentley to align the flaps.  Really easy.
 I used closed cell foam weatherstrip (5/8 or 3/4 wide
by 1/4 or 3/8 thick) for the seal to the firewall.
Self stick side to the box supplemented by some
contact cement at the tight radius' and the joint
which I put at the bottom center of the box.  Seals
well and makes later removal a snap.  Yeah, like
that'll never happen!  Good luck with your own
project.
