I have a one-ton 4 X 4 Chebby dumptruck that I couldn't get the front wheel
off when first acquired despite repeated blows with an 8-pound sledge
around the perimeter of the tire (20-incher, I think, so there was lots of
leverage), so I reinstalled the lug nuts loosely, rolled the truck back and
forth about four feet, and the wheel came loose immediately.
