really scary engineering, twin engine idea

Luke and all,

It's been quite a while since I've started thinking of a twin I5 20vt
car... I thought the coupe could be easier to adapt than the 4kq because of
the room in the back (the trunk is different)... I think that if I ever
start doing this, I'll try to implement 2 20vt engines, one in the front
and one in the rear, each one with a 5k fwd tranny and the rear one
installed the same way as the front one (in order to avoid driving
backwards in forward gears :-) )... I have yet to study if this could be
done but I honestly think it can and think about the sound of 2 5 cylinder
engines! Furthermore, with some light tuning, this could easily make
500-520 HP, even 600 would not be that hard to achieve by using a complete
RS2 setup on each engine (man that will get expensive)... the point is that
I wonder if the car will be well balanced enough.... oh well, until I start
this I have plenty of time to study everything related!

Just a thought,

Mihnea
