which lubricant to use for door locks?

There are lubricants that look like generic white petroleum jelly (kind of
whitish opaque) that have significantly different properties. For example,
the stuff inside the E-brake chamber on the rear calipers LOOKS like
petroleum jelly, but can take a whole lot more heat than petroleum jelly.
I use a penetrating spray lubricant that contains some teflon for keeping
my Audi door handles and locks functioning. I coordinate spraying each
car's handles with paying my quarterly income taxes as a way of remembering
to do it. (A "trick" for fellow old-timers)
