Steve,
Since owning the 200Q I now use dedicated summer and winter tires.
No interest in A/S except perhaps Pilot XGT-Vor Z -4's, or BFG KDWS.
The Dunlops (and previous BFG C T/A HR4) were fine on the lighter less
powerful 4KQ, but not on the heavy higher powered T44TQ. I personally
did experience Touring T/A's on my friend's 4KQ (the P.O. of HIS 4KQ
had them on his car, my 4KQ's P.O had the C T/A HR4s, which I kept
buying until they were gone) and there really was no comparison in the
dry/rain between the tires. In the snow, the Touring's were better, but
both
my friend and I used dedicated snows. The D60 A2 were similar to the
C T/A HR4, but not quite as responsive, REALLY poor in snow for an A/S
and noisier. But they were fairly priced and availible for a LONG time,
and
close enough to the C T/A HR4 to have been considered. As the SP Sport
A2 are improvements over the D60 A2 (except noise, which is worse, OR
Subie Legacy's don't have the insulation of a 4KQ), they aren't bad as
A/S
tires on a relatively light 80. Hence, the comments on them....
