I'm not sure if there is an adapter for Audi, but the car audio dealer where
I moonlight doing consumer electronic repairs sells a changer with the brand
name "USA Spec" that is a 6 disc changer that has adapters available for
interfacing to most O.E. radios. I bought one on employee purchase for our
(thankfully) departed 1994 ovloV 850 turbo wagon and it worked great. I
believe the changer is a JVC (which isn't bad) and the distributor offers a
3 year warranty. I steer clear of all the car audio sales and installation
stuff in the shop (and on this list most of the time for that matter) but my
friend who owns the shop tells me he almost never sees these come back and
he sells a lot of them.
Your other option would be ebay. The 10 disc Sony transport changers are
easy to fix when they go down and quite reliable, water damage aside that is
(a common killer of CD changers BTW). The new-to-us '95 A6q avant has a 10
disc factory changer that has garden variety Sony 10 disc internals--I would
guess the '95.5 S6 likely takes the same changer.
