I defer to our resident Audi audio genius, Ti, for the definitive on this. I
checked with the shop I moonlight at and there are no adapter listings for
the "USA Spec" changers for Audis older than 1998. Bummer.

Given that apparently the changer in question is a six-disc Alpine based
unit I would be *very* careful in selecting a used one. Reason being,
Alpine's support for independent field service on their changers is very
poor for their own branded changers. Any electrical adjustments require use
of a very expensive EVR programmer after pick-up replacement. They offer no
support for O.E. branded changers IME unless you can figure out an Alpine
model that it crosses to. For reasons above, we refuse to work on them in
our shop. I would only buy one used from a known and trusted list member,
not ebay, unless the price were so good I was willing to take the risk.

Ti's suggestion of an RF adapter changer is getting better all the time...
