If you're going to replace both the amplifier and the speakers, then
the impedance of the Bose speaker and loading on the amplifier is a
non-issue. The radio's line level output should be able to drive the
input of any aftermarket amplifier.

Huh? Line level output to tweeters? If so I hope the crossover you
mention has a power amplifier in it! You really mean speaker-level output,
right?
