Advice for new 90tq needed

The little brass tube on the back side of the TB?  I
don't know what the hell that does, I always leave it
disconnected.

Hot side(usually exhuast side)?  Do you mean
compressor outlet?  I don't think there are any vacuum
hoses between there and the IC inlet.  Should just be
that big funky "J" hose.

Ahh!  Make sure the pressure is hitting that diaphram
at 90 degrees.  If it's backwards the pressure will
hit it strait on and cause it to leak.  Check the SJM
site for a diagram.  I've put it on backwards before.
If you have it plumbed into the intake, it doesn't
matter as much because no metered air escapes.  This
could also be a problem, when it opens it dumps all
that metered air, and causes excess fuel to be
injected.  The system is to stupid to know the air
really isn't there anymore

Under vacuum, yes, boost will be rich like I said
above.  I bet your problem is related to one of these,
it sounds like we're on the right track.  I had tons
of little issue like this that took a while to get
sorted out, so don't get frustrated.  You'll just get
to know your car that much better!
