Hehe...a chipped 2.7 will last forever, I don't think there will be any negligible life span loss on the motor itself, not even on the turbos.  The 2.7 motors, in stock form, are loosing turbos regardless of chipping, the 2.7 bottom end can support well over 500hp without modification.

Its doubtful that Audi will be rebuilding any of these motors for any reason...

Its highly doubtful, these motors ave very strong and overdesigned, an RS4 motor is just as overdesigned at 380hp as the 2.7tt is at 250hp.
