Hmm I don't know how you hammered it, but some form of hammering (usually
hammering a long stick to push out the slave) has been necessary every time
I've done this job...
Sorry to hear about your little mishap, would it be possible to repair the
tranny? I don't know how it is broken, but can you have the broken part(s)
tig welded back on?
If you're going to have to spend 400 bucks on the tranny, plus installation,
the repair cost may exceed the value of the car, it's something to watch out
for anyway. You might be able to upgrade to a better car for the same cost
as fixing yours....
