well my car is still NA, and when 2232 is stored the car feels like it goes
limp home, ignition off and on again and it behaves like normal, i thought
any code was supposed to make it "limp home".

Yes, any turbo converted car will throw that code with more than 5psi or
so, shouldn't hurt things unless the potentiometer output is way off.
Anything over 4.5v output and it will trip the check engine light, is
your check engine light coming on under boost?

I'm pretty sure that's the code #, but I could be
wrong, and it may be different for different
countries?  Anyways, I always had that code around,
and it didn't seem to matter that It was there most of
the time.  There are a few others on the list that
have done similar projects, and live with the code...
