Brake pressure accumulator tubing tool?

Hi,
My brake pressure accumulator sprung a leak at the output elbow on
my 88 5KCSTQ. A pinhole had rusted through right at the right angle of the
elbow. I cut the plastic tubes to remove and solder up the elbow. What a
job to get the tubes back on at 20 degrees F! I avoided my heat gun
because of fire risk from red hot coils. Finally got the tubes on using a
pencil soldering iron stuck inside the metal hose bibs while holding the
plastic tube as close to the hot iron as possible. Then a fast and furious
attempt to drop the iron and push the tube on. Took 3 tries on each tube.
Is there a special tool/gadget to do this job??? I'm not happy
with the job as one tube is only just past the second barb. Thanks.

Lou
