Hi,

The Vanagon engine is not a transverse engine to start with. Its a flat
pancake motor just like the old bugs but with water cooling. If I went
with the VR6 it would have to sit at 15 degrees, but the Audi V6 would
sit at 0 degrees. Also Ti stated that the Audi V6 makes more torque
becouse of the intake manifold. Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt that
what I want? Most trucks as I recall have
more torque than HP. Actaully the original motor is 98 hp and around 130
ft lbs. Just my thoughts.

Regards,
Aaron
