A4 bearing hum

Hello all,

I'm hearing a hum from up front and I think it's a bearing-- it changes
as I swerve from side to side.  Is this possibly a DIY job, or should I
just bite the bullet and pull out the checkbook?  I have average
ability, and the usual toolkit available.
