Oetiker clamp pliers

That's a good price for a pair of Oetiker pliars.  I paid 22.00 for
mine.

Two days later I was in the local Sears tool department and noticed that
they had a new line of tools made in China.  They also had a box of
returned or tools which had been broken open, or whatever.

In this box was a pair of Oetiker pliars, also known as end nippers and
fence mending pliars.  It is just a pair of cutting pliars which has the
cutting edge perpendicular to the handels rather than parallel to the
handels.  Anyway I offered to pay one dollar, which was accepted.  I had
already dulled the edge of the Oetiker pliars so I couldn't return them.

I believe that  the new line of Chinese tools are now being carried by
all Sears tool departments.
