dash light question

Hi again,
Do Audi dashes have red lights due to red colored
bulbs or red-colored plastic housings or what?
In the interest of making my '86 Syncro more
Audi-like, not to mention some claim it helps night
vision, I'd like to have a red dash at night.
What's the best way to accomplish this?
