Marketplace fraud

This is regarding what I reported earlier this week, that I feel I am a
victim of fraud on the Audifans Marketplace. I sent a check for agreed
upon merchandise from a lister who posted on the marketplace, sometime
around Sept. 20. I waited patiently for weeks to receive it, and followed
up with inquiries on the status.

I have not heard anything that indicates I'll get my money back, so in
hopes it may do some good by preventing someone else from getting ripped
off, I am putting this guy's name and email address out. I hope that I am
making a mistake here and that this person is really well intentioned, and
has been out of town or such for a month, since as last I heard from him,
he had lost my address(email and home) and merchandise would be sent
promptly.

Because money doesn't come easy to me these days I'm not taking kindly to
this, but I feel I have waited far too long already to mention it. I have
had great results previously with other listers in buying and selling me
rchandise, as there has been an implied mutual trust among listers.
However, there seems to have been no intent to make good so far.

The name as represented is:

Allan Vega
30 Vail St
Waterbury CT 06708

with email address: 'i990v8q at aol.com'

Marketplace Item #2299

Perhaps some other lister knows of this fellow, and can help keep an
otherwise honest lister honest. Those who know me well, know that I am
very understanding, but "burned once, twice shy" so it goes.

Thanks for bearing with me on this.

Ben
