Congrats to Sean for his aquisition of "Black Beauty":
http://www.homestead.com/ben_swann/Char5ktqa.html
I recently sold this to Jim A. who had it driven to Michegan with
everything working perfectly and over $4K in new parts alone in past year.
I don't think Jim's wife really ever wanted the car and was concerned
about bogus crash ratings, etc. Jim was compelled to dump the car when the
AC compressor went. Sean will be able to deal with this minor detail for
far less than what Jim was probably quoted for replacement.
I'm glad to see Sean was able to get a good deal and bring the car back to
Annapolis again, where it is welcome to visit its family anytime and bring
Sean too.
Ben
Big AUDI party in the driveway as Sean is welcome to bring either of both
of his over for repairs or to be with the AUDI family:
'87 Pearl 5kcstq avant - mine
'87 Charcoal 5kcstq avant - Seans
'84 Red GT Coupe - Seans - congrats for finally getting this through the
arduous MD inspection process
'84 Red 4kq - Jay's who bought the car then decided he'd rent our
efficiency, so that car live here now - needs subframe bushings for MD
inspection.
'87 Alpine 4kq - soon to be scrap metal; '89 80 - nice parts car - what can
I do with a 2 L. 4 cyl?
'85 Black 4kq "rally" car now converted to my knockabout daily driver and
called "Black Beater" since it replaced "Black Beauty" Seans new avant.
'85 Silver 4kq - Project GTQ patiently awaiting NG transplant since
original engine still runs strong and sound mean and starts immediatly with
a growl heard through Stebro - wife's car. she doesn't understand why I
want to put another motor in the car for.
'86 Ocean BLue Coupe - I'm ready to sacrifice this wonderful car - if
anyone wants it, I have put more into this car than I will get back out:
http://www.homestead.com/ben_swann/GTCoupeBlue.html and have spreadsheet
for over $3000 in costs, and I was asking $2k but someone make a reasonable
offer.
Yes that's 9 Audis that had taken residence in the driveway, home for
Thanksgiving.
