go to a home depot or lowes type store and find the biggest hose clamp that you can find, then get 2 of them you can connect them together making one HUGE hose clamp and they are maybe $2 each, I did mine years ago and have never had a problem.

Another question for the collective:
Looking at my intercooler while replacing the radiator fill bottle (which is
now in pieces in the garbage), I told myself once again that I need to put
straps on it to help it last a bit longer. What should I use? I don't have
any hose clamps that big. Are they hose clamps or some other sort? One strap
or several?
Car is an '86 5ktqa, (black, if that makes a difference)... any advice
appreciated, as sometimes I'll miss the most obvious things.
