That can depend. Most of mine come off fairly easy,
but 1 on the left front carrier on my 85 5kt was also
"welded". I tried Kroil, heat, Kroil, heat, big
breaker bar. Even a CP 1/2 drive air gun. 450 ft.
lbs. of torque. Still no dice. Eventually I tore the
insides out of the fastner. Even with a clean hex
driver fully seated in a clean bolt head recess. I
finally got it out by heating it almost cherry red
(the carrier in the area of the bolt threads) and
using a large (like 2') pipe wrench. And when it went
it really cracked. I think someone used an air gun to
install it many moons ago. I'd try more doses of
penetrating oil alternating with moderate heat. Heat
the FEMALE THREADED part, not the fastener.
