Robert- totally with you.
Along the lines of that VW dealer you mentioned, BMWNA has been
said to note who participates in BMWCCA driver's ed events and
denying them warranty coverage. WTF is that?
There are dealers who will try to deny warranty coverage for
stuff completely unrelated to mods, that pisses me and many other
Audi/BMW/etc. owners off. Since when is the sunroof related to
suspension? That's what one VW dealer told my friend.
I won't say what I'd do to a tech who would admit that he/she
took my car to 140mph on public roads and basically abused the
hell out of it for a joyride. Let's just say that it's a good
thing I'm a law-abiding citizen who has concern for the consequences
of his actions. Something similar happened to me and if I didn't
know the person, he/she would be fired, sued and lots worse for
what he/she did.
