rad fan behavior

here's the easiest way to do it i think... hmm, wait, it may not be
easy...

On my coupe I wired the power supply to the sender, which triggers the
relay, to be from battery, not ignition.  The power that the relay
switches to the fan is already battery power.  Now, if the sender is
calling for fan, it just keeps running when I turn it off.

But *how* I did that I haven't the foggiest idea... and my coupe has the
antique underdash "fusebox", so it would be a bit different anyway.

If there wiring is there, of course, you can just add the bracket, the
sender, and the relay and it should work.  Not that it really matters
with a normally aspirated car, there's not *that* much heat under the
hood to get rid of - no red hot glowing turbo to cool off, etc.

pretty much.  you're not supposed to leave them parked and idling
anyway!

I'd say it's more trouble than it's worth... JMHO of course.
