I agree. Sure, AWD or 4WD will get you up to 90 or whatever in the
snow. Might even feel "comfortable"... Turn? Stop or slow down?
Worse yet, try to avoid accident? All cars have four tires and four
brakes, no advantage there.
Now, a snowy racetrack... that's another matter.
(My F250 has the "emergency brake," of course, 300 lbs of steel that can
be dropped on the road at will for abrupt stops. if it was street
legal, that is)
