I will have to check that.  Was going to do it yesterday, but it rained
all day.  I noticed one more thing.  It only flashes that light at me
when the engine is about 1/4 warmed up.  It doens't do it when cold.....
 Probably means nothing, I will disconnect the expansion tank sender,
and see if it goes away.

i believe the top sender in the heck is for the gauge and the overtemp
warning.  the bottom sender is for the CIS-E.

have you tried disconnecting the level sender in the expansion tank?
it
also will set off the flashing coolant indicator, and might be
bad/stuck.
