TT: 180 vs. 225

I believe it was even said that a 180 could become unreliable at around 250
hp, personally id get the extra cash and go for the 225, I would have
thought that it would hold its price better as well, so possibly in the long
term the 225 could work out cheaper!!!!!!!

During the 1.8 turbo debate last month, we learned
that the 225 hp model actually has beefier engine
internals.  So if you are going to go crazy with mods
and try to get above 300 hp or something, I'd go with
the 225 hp model.  If you do keep it stock, then I
guess I can't help since I've never driven any type of
TT.
