Type 44 oil cooler replacement alternatives?

I know a fellow nearby that has a 91 200q20v that he uses as his tow
vehicle: custom built hitch and he regularly tows a trailer with full size
cars on it.  Last time I was up there he told me he replaced the oil cooler
with a huge BMW 7 series oil cooler to keep the oil temps down.  Obviously
some fabrication involved, but he says towing a full load in the Georgia
heat with the A/C blasting, his oil temps stay down with no problems.

If you are interested I will give him a call and find out what model Bimmer
it came off of.
