Clutch - master? and slave?

Britt,

I had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago in my 90Q. I replaced both, master
and slave and guess what - the problem was still there. The pedal would not return. It
turns out
the clutch had do be bled properly - by "properly" I mean either pressure bleeding or
"reverse" bleeding whereby you use the brakes to push fluid backwards through the clutch
lines. The
procedure is well documented, just search the archives. You might as well try a quick fix
by bleeding the system first - perhaps all you have is air in the clutch lines. On the
other hand, if air
is in the system, it had to get there somehow so fook for leaks. Good luck.
