Many replacement parts- notably the adjustible link and several bushings-
are dealer-oln and much more expensive on the early model.
I have koni yellow adjustibles and BG springs on early model Avant that
were spec'ed to fit both designs and love the way it hugs the road, so
concerns about shocks/springs not fitting appear overstated.
